Vanessa Carlton has offered to replace a piano flooded in Friendswood, Texas, during Hurricane Harvey.
The piano belongs to Aric Harding, whose video of himself playing the instrument after returning to his flooded home to gather a few belongings for his seven children went viral. Per CNN, when Harding realized water hadn't completely submerged the piano, he decided "to take a moment and play and take it all in."

Later, Carlton came across Harding's video on Twitter. She then sent a tweet to a CNN reporter who'd spoken with Harding, asking for his contact info in case the piano didn't end up surviving the flood.
"This story is so important," she wrote.
