Ever get caught with your pants down?
A new device called the minimeyes might be the solution. It was created by Dutch inventor Moos Neimeijer who has just launched an Indiegogo campaign in partnership with porn platform xHamster. It’s basically a motion sensor that keeps an eye out while you’re, um, otherwise occupied.
The campaign’s page suggests you use minimeyes“at home, in the office, in your favorite coffee place, or in your dorm room.” That does beg the question of why you’re watching porn at a coffee shop, and, of course, pleasuring yourself at work is always ill-advised.
Still, if you’re that fearful of getting busted, it is a nicely designed little cube that looks very innocuous. It connects via Bluetooth, and has a 16.5 foot range. Once you’ve set it up, it uses a passive infrared lens to monitor the room, and if it senses an intrusion, it signals your computer to shut all open windows and mute any sound.
The biggest issue at the moment is that it’s not setup to work with tablets and smartphones, which is how most people consume their adult content these days. While the makers promise they’ll work on developing that if and when the campaign is fully funded, that might cut down on the immediate appeal.

Of course, no matter what, you’ll still be left having to explain why you’re sitting there staring at a blank screen, possibly with your pants down.
