Netflix's Stranger Things might haveruled summer 2016, but October is its month to shine.
Kyle Lambert, the artist behind the show's '80s-inspired poster, shared this piece of Stranger Things Halloween inspiration, courtesy of Twitter user Brad Starr.

Starr's piece is a foam pumpkin carved with an thoroughly detailed rendering of Lambert's original poster.
"With Stranger Thingsbeing the best thing to come out of 2016 I started quickly on it back in August," Starr told Mashablevia Twitter DM. "Over the course of a week it took about 13 hours total, using a hot knife with different tips to 'melt' and 'carve' the foam into the lightness and darkness needed."

Starr says each year he carves a different foam pumpkin, and though his work is often a hit among friends on Facebook, it's just a hobby. When Lambert reached out to Starr about his piece, Starr says he was thrilled.
"I nerded out," he said. "It was nice to be recognized by an artist."
