因為父親工作的關係 ，戴爾從小在葡萄牙長大 ，他也曾經透露 ，在熱刺的訓練場 ，他私下和穆裏尼奧說的都是葡萄牙語 。不過 ，本賽季戴爾的場上表現並不佳 ，已經淪為了球隊的邊緣球員 ，今夏很有可能被俱樂部甩賣出去 。
