在三級聯賽準入名單中，落定中超為16支球隊，北京保名中乙為18支球隊 ，国安中乙則為23支球隊 。获官
上賽季參加聯賽的宣中性名“江蘇蘇寧 、泰州遠大 、全部內蒙古中優 、尘埃成功出炉北京人和 、深圳壆崗 、江蘇鹽城鼎立”等6支球隊未獲得2021賽季職業聯賽參賽資格。
此外 ，備受關注的各個俱樂部中性化更名一事也塵埃落定 ，在足協公布的這份準入通知中 ，所有球隊都以新名稱展示 ，並標注上了曾用名稱 。老牌勁旅北京國安隊在最後一刻“保名”成功 。
