米盧在接受采訪時表示 ：“說真的遗憾 ，我對中國隊很可能無緣2022年世界杯感到遺憾，中国我喜歡中國隊 ，缺席中國人滿懷熱情 ，世界所以看到中國無法重返世界杯我感到不是杯可把目标定滋味 。”
“中國人數眾多 ，米卢人們也心懷理想 ，遗憾所以他們要做的中国就是找到正確的一群人去實現晉級世界杯的理想 。希望中國可以繼續大力發展足球青訓 ，並且定下一個新的目標——晉級2026年世界杯決賽圈 。”米盧說道 。
