搜狐體育消息，北京時間4月27日 ，广州广州《廣州日報》發文 ，队难對新賽季廣州隊和廣州城隊的维持前景進行了分析 。
《廣州日報》表示在目前疫情仍不穩定的中超情況下 ，中國足協已經很難全麵恢複主客製 ，上游水平全年比賽場次也必然要麵臨壓縮 ，城降但他們卻保留了“升三降三”的粤媒升降級機製 。中超本賽季不過18隊參加卻要降3隊 ，广州广州這樣的队难降級幅度應該說已經超過了歐洲五大聯賽 。如果中超各參賽的维持俱樂部全部運作正常 ，那麽“降三”的中超競爭確實異常激烈 ，甚至殘酷 。上游水平
對廣州兩支中超球隊來說 ，城降在“18降3”的粤媒賽製下 ，都將麵臨巨大壓力 。目前 ，廣州隊處於自負盈虧狀態，整體實力已難以維持在中超上遊水平 。以一支“全華班”年輕球員組成的廣州隊 ，想在中超實現保級，恐怕不容易 。至於廣州城隊 ，由於全隊已有近一個月沒有係統訓練 ，外援也無緣第一階段賽事 ，因此 ，廣州城同樣是一支降級熱門球隊。
