蘭帕德將本場慘敗的技術原因歸結為個人失誤 ，“殘酷的失誤讓我們付出了代價 ，讓對手得以強大 。我們在15到20分鍾的時間裏踢得很舒服 ，個人失誤導致了丟球 ，讓比賽脫離了我們的掌控 。在0-2或者0-3落後的時候 ，這就會變得很艱難 。”
