阿曼隊主帥伊萬科維奇
據《五星體育》 、称不超冠《體壇周報》等媒體26日消息 ，赢国國足12強賽下一個對手 、率山阿曼隊主帥伊萬科維奇的东鲁一段采訪引發了關注 。
在接受阿曼媒體采訪時 ，下中這位中國足球的主帅足辞职老熟人表示——如果接下來與中國隊的比賽不能全取三分 ，他將會辭職 ，称不超冠不再擔任阿曼男足主教練 ，赢国並且承擔所有責任 。率山 伊萬科維奇曾執教中超山東魯能 。东鲁

2009年12月 ，称不超冠他正式與山東魯能隊簽約 ，赢国並在2010年中超聯賽中帶領山東魯能泰山隊以18勝9平3負積63分（領先亞軍天津泰達隊13分）的優異戰績奪冠 。
伊萬科維奇的球隊創下該賽季勝場最多 、進球最多、淨勝球最多以及主場不敗的紀錄。賽季結束後 ，伊萬科維奇榮膺“2010中超最佳教練” 。
2011年5月 ，伊萬科維奇由於個人身體狀況不佳以及精力等原因 ，向魯能俱樂部請辭 。隨後他一直在西亞 、阿聯酋等地執教。伊萬科維奇率領魯能中超奪冠 。
在本屆世預賽12強賽中，阿曼隊位列第五檔 ，但他們在第一場就1-0爆冷擊敗日本隊，並隨後3-1戰勝越南 。兩場告負的比賽是0-1不敵沙特 ，1-3輸給澳大利亞 。
目前阿曼隊積6分排名B組第三位 ，以進球數優勢力壓日本 。
根據賽程安排 ，國足與阿曼隊的比賽將在11月11日進行 ，由於國足大概率無法承辦主場賽事，比賽地點或許還將在阿聯酋 。
