Every so often, a ray of light shines through to illuminate our dark world. This is one of those times.
Twitter's @boybehindbricks (display name Whit as of this writing), a graphic designer and self-described "cat mom," is a big Lady Gaga fan. So is her grandpa. They're both veryaware that the pop star is in the midst of a long-term Las Vegas residency.
Whit is turning 21 in September and she was hoping to get the family out for one of Gaga's Vegas shows. But it wasn't to be; the tickets have been available long enough for the shows to sell out, and the pricing from any reseller is way outside the family's budget. Grandpa was disappointed.
Fortunately for Whit, a new block of 2020 shows went on sale. Her grandma got in on the action and bought three tickets for one of those shows right after they went up.

So Whit, knowing how hard her grandpa stans for Gaga and how disappointed he was after the original plan didn't work out, decided to surprise him. She filmed the whole exchange, and... well... it's just so, sosweet.

"...Gaga?" 😲 "Oh my gosh! I just got goosebumps!"
We should all be so genuine about the things we love.
