俄羅斯足協聲明 ：“我們認為這一決定違背了國際體育賽事的背体規範和原則 ，也違背了體育精神 。育精它具有明顯的俄罗歧視性 ，傷害了無數的斯足神保诉权運動員 、教練 、协国俱樂部和國家隊的际足雇員 ，最重要的联违留上利是數百萬俄羅斯和外國球迷 ，他們的背体利益是國際體育組織必須首先保護的 。”
“這種行為正在分裂體育界，育精而體育界一直堅持平等 、俄罗相互尊重和獨立於政治的原則 。根據國際體育法，我們保留對國際足聯和歐足聯的決定提出上訴的權利 。”
