In 2023,podcastsremained some of the best entertainment material while doing chores around the house or on your drive to work. Mashable has picked the best podcasts of 2023, but we also have specific selections for sex and relationship listens. Because who doesn't want a comedian or sexpert in your ears? Here are 11 shows to learn more about sexuality and/or laugh while doing it.

1. It's My Pleasure

Sex coach Danielle Savory dives into how the brain impacts our sex lives in her podcast It's My Pleasure. Your brain is an important sex organ, which you may have picked up on if you've ever tried to have sex while your mind is elsewhere (the sex isn't the hottest). Savory discusses how we can use neuroscience and psychology to induce more pleasure and thus have better sex.

Sex education in the United States is less than stellar, but teachers like Sex Ed with DBhost Danielle Bezalel are here to help us bridge the gap. A repeat expert source here at Mashable (check out our article on TikTok removing sex ed videos), Bezalel is a sex-positive educator who takes an accessible, inclusive approach in her podcast. The conversations between Bezalel and her expert sources (many of them LGBTQ and BIPOC) provide an entertaining and informative resource for learning more about sex and our bodies.

7. Dates & Mates with Damona Hoffman

I might be biased, because I was once a guest on Dates & Mates, but this podcast is great for dating advice. Host and OkCupid dating coach Damona Hoffman has helped people find partners for over a decade, so she knows her stuff. Not only do episodes feature her advice but you often hear from experts as well, like Couples Therapy psychologist Dr. Orna Guralnik and matchmaker Rachel Russo (and yours truly, I suppose).

9. WHOREible Decisions

As former Mashable reporter Jess Joho wrote in a previous roundup of sexy podcasts, "We could listen to hosts Mandii B & WeezyWTF shoot the shit about literally anything. But in Whoreible Decisions, they grace us with all the very explicit details of their enviably adventurous sex and love lives." Whoreible Decisions is full of frank and funny yet thoughtful conversations about sex, either between themselves or with guests in the mix. 10. Two Dykes and a Mic

Two Dykes and a Mic may first be categorized as a comedy podcast, but what makes it so funny is hosts McKenzie Goodwin and Rachel Scanlon chatting about queer life and relationships. In between talking about pop culture — like Taylor Swift and The Bachelorette — the duo dish out relationship advice and reactions to dating horror stories. If that doesn't convince you, come for queer guests like actors E.R. Fightmaster and Mae Martin.

11. She Wants More

While it only lasted a few months, She Wants Moreis worth binge-listening. Writer Jo Piazza, also host of the Committedpodcast, speaks with women who cheat on their spouses and relationship experts to give more insight into why. Inspired by a statistic from the National Opinion Research Center that wives were 40 percent more likely to be cheating in 2010 than in 1990, Piazza and her guests discuss what led them to cheat, how they did it, and what came of it.
