Talking trash to other drivers from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle is one of America's greatest pastimes.

Gerald Austin Taylor was texting with his mom Kathy recently when he received a pretty strange text. Like a good, responsible driver, Kathy was texting her son using the voice-to-text feature on her phone.

"There's also some fried fish," the first part of the text read. It was likely supposed to end there, but the text also included an adorable bit of road aggressive she clearly didn't mean to send.

"Oh honey I know you are not fixing to get over in my lane," the rest of the text read.

As you probably guessed by the politeness, Taylor's family is from the south. She later followed up the text with an "Oh oops," just to top it all off and make this the ultimate mom text.

"We were talking about the leftovers we had in the fridge and she sent those messages while heading back home from my grandmother's house," Gerald explained. "Thinking it was hilarious, I screenshot it and tweeted it out."

Well, Twitter fell in love.

Others shared similar struggles with technology.

Thankfully, Kathy has a great attitude about the whole thing.

"I told my mom about it this morning, but she already knew because some of her Facebook friends told her," said Gerald. "She thinks it's hilarious and can't believe how big it's gotten."

Technology: it only works when you don't want it to.
