2022年BWF年終賽正式落幕 ，美技台灣「羽球一姐」戴資穎在女單決賽中以直落二不敵日本山口茜，山口世界無緣生涯第4座年終賽冠軍 ，波盈背后杯不過戴資穎此戰帶給山口茜許多壓力 ，足球资颖其中更展現了驚人手感 ，影戴上演了背後回擊的花式回击絕妙好球，沒有意外入選官方5大救球美技 。绝B救球
年終賽女單積分名列第2的戴資穎被分在了B組 ，相較於山口茜 、美技陳雨菲及安洗瑩眾多好手聚集的A組 ，戴資穎被認為能輕鬆闖進4強賽，隻不過首戰麵對今年勇奪4冠的何冰嬌吞下敗仗 ，好在對陣2位泰國地主好手布莎南（Busanan Ongbumrungpan）及伊瑟儂（Ratchanok Intanon）都順利拿下，戴資穎以小組第二進入4強階段 。
4強再度對決何冰嬌 ，戴資穎先以直落二完成甜蜜複仇 ，在決賽迎戰現任球後山口茜 ，仍無法終結對戰3連敗的紀錄 ，也讓山口茜將生涯對戰紀錄扳成10勝 、10負，不過戴資穎仍沒讓對方好過 ，第2局發揮纏鬥功夫化解2個冠軍點 ，甚至還打出一次背後擊球 ，球還精準的壓在邊線上 ，讓山口茜隻能仰天長歎 。
除此之外 ，台灣男單好手周天成也入圍了5大美技 ，不過2次都是充當海報的配角 ，同樣被印尼名將金廷（Anthony Ginting）秀了一手背後擊球 。
