從轉播鏡頭的位凯无奈回放可以看到，破門之所以被吹是恩太因為切爾西門將凱帕出擊後未回撤，因此造成了凱恩越位 ，凯指导進球無效 。秀神
根據越位規則 ，操作出击凡進攻隊員較球更接近於對方球門線者 ，位凯无奈即為處於越位位置 ，恩太下列情況除外 ：a.該隊員在本方半場內；b.至少有對方隊員兩人比該隊員更接近於對方的球門線 。
通常 ，門將固守在門前 ，所以默認為不能比最後一名防守球員更靠近球門 。但此時 ，凱帕出擊且未回撤 ，比凱恩更靠近切爾西大門的隻有呂迪格一人，因此凱恩處於越位位置，進球無效 。
