Trying to decipher Twin Peaksis like trying to work out the origins of the universe, or to solve the meaning of life.
It's so damn cryptic and mysterious that sometimes you start to wonder if director David Lynch himself even knows how the whole thing is going to pan out.

It seemed like an almost throwaway line at the time, but judging by the first four episodes of the new Season, it's going to be pretty crucial.
In Part 1 of Twin Peaks: The Return, a now grey-haired Deputy Hawk gets a call from the Log Lady. Her log has a message for him:
The scenes between Deputy Hawk, Andy, and Lucy have been fairly comic and ridiculous so far — but it's looking likely that they could be building up to something bigger.
As Lucy says in response to Hawk in that scene: "But Agent Cooperis missing ..."
Maybe, as Cooper first hoped all those years ago, Hawk will be the one that comes to find him ...
