北京時間9月18日 ，金足奖人2022金足獎30人的候选候選名單出爐，梅西、梅西马武本澤馬 、莱万磊香萊萬 、本泽內馬爾 、川孙武磊等中外巨星悉數在列 。兴慜在此之前 ，金足奖人鄭智也入圍了金足獎的候选50人候選名單 ，但止步於此 ，梅西马武沒能進入本次的莱万磊香30人名單 。
與武磊一同進入30人候選名單的本泽除了梅西、本澤馬 、川孙萊萬 、兴慜內馬爾等球王級別的金足奖人人選，還包括曾效力曼聯的亞洲球員香川真司與正在熱刺效力 ，上賽季的英超最佳射手孫興慜 。
