北京時間6月6日 ，曝热帕拉據《鏡報》消息，刺本熱刺將在一周內官宣前尤文圖斯體育總監帕拉蒂奇的周将足球总监加盟。此前熱刺曾與孔蒂多次接觸 ，官宣但是蒂奇担任雙方並沒有談妥 。盡管是加盟這樣的結果 ，熱刺仍在推進與帕拉蒂奇的球队合作 。
熱刺主席丹尼爾-列維認為 ，曝热帕拉錯失孔蒂是刺本一個不小的打擊 ，球隊本來也希望可以促成孔蒂與帕拉蒂奇繼尤文圖斯後的周将足球总监再次合作 ，錯失孔蒂也讓很多球迷感到失望。官宣但是蒂奇担任帕拉蒂奇即將擔任熱刺的足球總監 ，這也會為之後球隊招募球員帶來幫助 。加盟
據悉 ，球队帕拉蒂奇將會以足球總監的曝热帕拉身份加盟熱刺 ，他的工作是輔佐主席列維進行談判和交易。對於試圖完善和重建陣容的熱刺來說，帕拉蒂奇的加盟是一針強心劑 。
而在主教練的人選上 ，雖然熱刺一直希望波切蒂諾能夠回歸，但是巴黎聖日耳曼堅決地阻止這一計劃 。同時，熱刺與比利時主帥羅伯特-馬丁內斯的聯係也有所冷卻。
