Walmart is giving everyone three chances to order an SNES Classic this week with limited orders starting Wednesday and running through Friday.

Credit: walmartWalmart is limiting orders to one per customer during this window of time, which is good news for interested buyers who don't want to cough out more than $100 to a reseller.
It appears that if you placed a preorder of the SNES Classic through Walmart when they officially went up (not that time Walmart accidentally put up their preorders) and Walmart put you on backorder, Walmart may be honoring some of those orders now. My SNES Classic preorder was put on backorder by Walmart in August and my card finally got charged on Tuesday.
More than a month after the SNES Classic's release, the throwback console has remained pretty elusive to fans who didn't get their hands on one in its initial release window, although a few retailers have done limited orders like what Walmart is doing this week.
After the disaster that was the NES Classic, for which Nintendo severely underestimated fans' demands, Nintendo promised to do better with the SNES Classic (read: make more). Nintendo of America head Reggie Fils-Aime even told fans not to pay up to the demands of SNES Classic resellers and scalpers.
Don't give up hope yet.
