At long last, this is happening.
LCD Soundsystem announced on Facebook that they're releasing new music nearly a year and a half after sharing their plans to bring the band back from the dead. "Call the Police" and "American Dream" will be available at midnight local time tonight, but you can listen to a clip below via BBC Radio.

In the Facebook post, Murphy reveals that the album is in its final mixing stages, but it may still be a while before we hear it, because having vinyl available on the release date is a priority for him. But he'll try and get that all finished up so he can have a social life again.
"We're really looking forward to not feeling 'late' all the time, and being able to do things like plan a weekend to do something fun," writes Murphy. "Or respond to an email about eating with a friend with something other than "I'm sorry! I'm totally buried in the LP! Check with me in a month?"
