Two goats on the lam from a Pennsylvania farm had their dreams of a life on the road dashed after severely miscalculating how to successfully cross a bridge.
Per a post from the Pennsylvania Turnpike official Facebook page, the goats were rescued Tuesday after finding themselves stranded on the beam of a bridge above the Mahoning River.

First spotted by local police, the post notes that the resulting rescue mission was a joint effort between the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
After a speedy rescue, the goats were sent back home to the farm they'd escaped from. With that, they join the ranks of other animal fugitives who, despite heroic efforts, couldn't stay loose for long.
