北京時間7月23日 ，热刺熱刺官方宣布，官宣俱樂部與韓國前鋒孫興慜完成續約 ，孙兴新合同至2025年到期 。慜续據英國媒體透露 ，约至孫興慜的年年新合約年薪高達1200萬英鎊，“韓國天王”也將躋身英超球員的薪高高收入行列 。
現年29歲的达万孫興慜在2015年8月從德甲勒沃庫森轉會加盟熱刺 ，目前他共為熱刺在各項賽事中出場280次 ，热刺攻入107球，官宣並貢獻64次助攻 。孙兴2020-21賽季 ，慜续他和凱恩成為了英超最有威脅的约至一對鋒線搭檔 。若凱恩在今夏離隊 ，年年那麽孫興慜大概率將成為熱刺的薪高頭牌球星 。
對於續約，孫興慜表示 ：“能在這裏效力六年已經是一種榮幸 ，俱樂部向我展示了巨大的誠意，毋庸置疑，我很願意繼續待在這裏 。”
“這裏就像一個大家庭 ，尤其是有球迷 、隊友 、員工的支持 ，讓一切都更簡單 。我很高興留下來並期待馬上再次見到球迷們。”
