Nearly 55 years later to the day on Aug. 12, 2016, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston finally followed each other on Instagram. Never fear, though, there's no Cold War here -- it's a love story, baby just say yes.

The couple has not posted photos of each other yet, although they have appeared in friends' photos from Fourth of July weekend, but we're sure a very carefully planned selfie is on its way now that there are things in the world to believe in again.
