法蒂年少成名 ，巴萨多次打破球隊最年輕進球紀錄，西媒想留而在梅西離開巴薩後 ，门德法蒂也成為了10號球衣的斯推擁有者 。新賽季開戰後 ，动法蒂转法蒂一直養傷，巴萨而在上輪對戰萊萬特的比賽中，法蒂複出後的首場比賽就打入一球。鑒於法蒂出色的發揮，巴薩也希望盡快與法蒂方麵進行續約 。
在2019年的12月份 ，巴薩與法蒂簽訂了一份到2022年到期的合同 ，法蒂在2019-20賽季的年薪是72.15萬歐元 ，2020-21賽季的薪水是83.25萬歐元 ，本賽季法蒂的年薪為94.35萬歐元（以上數字都是稅後薪水） 。如果巴薩與法蒂續約兩年 ，那麽球員下賽季將會獲得277.5萬歐元的薪水 ，下下個賽季的年薪則會達到333萬歐元。
西班牙電視六台則表示，門德斯正推動法蒂前往英超 ，並且法蒂得到的薪水將可以翻倍 。不過法蒂本人想要繼續留在巴薩 。
