It seems that an all-metal look is in for 2016.
A string of leaked images of Lenovo's upcoming Moto X (branded as Droid on Verizon), published by hellomotoHK, show the new phone in what appears to be an aluminum body -- a big departure from the metal frame/plastic back combo sported by most of the phone's predecessors.
The photos also show a very large camera module on the back, while the front is very Samsung Galaxy-like, except for a square home button on the front. VentureBeatalso posted an image of the phone "in the flesh," in which the metal design is even more apparent. If the images are genuine, Lenovo's Moto X would join Samsung, Apple, Huawei and several other companies' flagships that have a metal case.
There's nothing here in terms of specifications, although previous rumors indicate the phone will have a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM.
However, we might still be in for a few surprises. Reliable leaker Evan Blass confirmed the authenticity of the images, but said the two of the leaked images actually show two different devices.

Lenovo is likely to reveal the phones on June 9, so stay tuned for more updates.
