皇馬方麵則是一直堅持的態度 ，他們甚至反威脅向馬德裏法院遞上狀紙 ，狀告歐足聯無權幹涉歐超的成立與運營 。
現在這個僵局迎來了一個新的變化 ，ESPN稱 ，如果弗洛倫蒂諾拒絕解散歐超 ，英超BIG6將考慮提起訴訟 。
弗洛倫蒂諾在收到該要求後 ，將有2到4周的時間召集創始俱樂部聯席會議 ，以決定是否最終終止歐超計劃 。
ESPN表示 ，英超BIG6這一訴訟計劃還是存在著一定的複雜性 ，因為並不清楚需要多少球隊同意才能解散歐超 ，而如果不通過法律程序，這一要求得到滿足的可能性也並不明朗 。
