北京時間3月8日淩晨 ，拉波巴薩新一任主席人選正式出爐，尔塔拉波爾塔以超過半數的梅西得票率，成為最終的已经勝利者 。而對於拉波爾塔來說，向送想留下上任之後最重要的祝贺事情莫過於留下梅西 。
在勝選之後 ，确信拉波爾塔接受了《世界體育報》的拉波采訪 ，拉波爾塔表示 ，尔塔自己已經收到了一些巴薩球員的梅西祝賀 ，“是已经的 ，一些球員向我表達了祝賀 。向送想留下都有誰 ？祝贺好吧 ，舉例來說，确信比如梅西 、拉波皮克 、阿爾巴……我認為這很正常。”
