勒夫在本屆歐洲杯後也會正式離開德國隊 ，對於勒夫 ，基米希也送出了自己的祝福 ：“非常感謝我們的主帥勒夫 ，他打造的時代不會被遺忘。我非常感謝這些年來他給予我的信任 ，對我而言 ，每一次能為我們的國家出戰都是一種榮耀 。”
