騷亂的乱中起因是馬賽球員帕耶在準備發角球時 ，被看台上尼斯球迷投擲的颈部水瓶砸中 ，憤怒的血痕帕耶隨即將水瓶扔回了看台，導致大量尼斯球迷從看台衝入場內 ，清晰場麵變得不可收拾 。可怕
法國媒體《RMC》在隨後跟進報道了騷亂的名马後續 。在這起騷亂中，赛球受伤有三名馬賽球員不幸受傷 ，员骚後衛盧安-佩雷斯和中場貢多齊的乱中頸部受傷，帕耶則是颈部後背被打傷，三人的血痕傷痕清晰可見 。
