隨著客場0-4慘敗布萊頓，曝弗曼聯徹底失去了下賽季參加歐冠聯賽的格森資格，C羅在今夏的爱徒未來也被打上了問號。據《鏡報》的再留消息 ，C羅已經與自己的曼联恩師弗格森進行過討論 ，談論過自己的累心C罗力劝未來 。
《鏡報》表示 ，曝弗C羅在曼徹斯特的格森家距離弗格森家很近，葡萄牙前鋒是爱徒弗爵爺家中的常客 ，並且還經常邀請弗格森來自己家中做客。再留事實上 ，曼联C羅去年夏天能拒絕曼城加盟曼聯 ，累心C罗力劝也是曝弗弗格森在其中起到了不小的作用 。
據悉 ，格森弗格森並不希望看到C羅離開曼聯 ，爵爺在勸說葡萄牙前鋒再留在老特拉福德一個賽季。C羅在加盟曼聯時與俱樂部簽訂了一份為期兩年的合同，到2023年6月30日到期 。
在弗格森麵前 ，C羅顯然可以無話不談。據《鏡報》得知 ，弗格森希望自己的昔日愛徒能至少再留曼聯一個賽季 ，他們甚至談到了曼聯本賽季的衰落。
